Pregnancy Category: A; 350-400 mg/day elemental Mg recommended during pregnancy.

Unknown amount excreted in breastmilk.
Unknown drug levels in breastfed infants.
No overt adverse effects reported in breastfed infants.
Some adverse effects on lactation reported.
