Hypersensitivity to fidaxomicin or its components
Infections other than C. difficile
Do not use fidaxomicin for the treatment of other infections, as it has not been studied in infections other than C. difficile and increases the risk of developing drug-resistant bacteria.

Use caution in patients with a history of macrolide allergy.

eGFR 0-90 mL/min/1.73 m²
Use acceptable. No dose adjustment required. UK SPC advises to use with caution if GFR<30 mL/min due to lack of data.

No guidance available. Hepatic impairment is not expected to alter the elimination of fidaxomicin.
