The sICH score, or the Secondary Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH) Score, is a clinical calculator used to estimate the risk of a vascular etiology, such as arteriovenous malformation or aneurysm, in patients who have experienced an intracerebral hemorrhage. This scoring system is particularly useful in the acute setting, helping clinicians to identify patients who may benefit from further diagnostic imaging or intervention. The sICH score is not applicable to patients with a clear non-vascular cause of ICH, such as trauma or anticoagulant use.
