Symptoms of bowel obstruction, such as abdominal distension, vomiting, and abdominal pain present immediately after birth
Megacystis present
Barium enema indicates microcolon in the neonatal period
No mechanical obstructive lesions observed in the gastrointestinal tract
No pathological abnormalities observed in the neural plexus of a full-thickness intestinal biopsy specimen
